Latest visa process of Malaysia dispense schemes for mainland Chinese vacationers came belatedly to improve the percentage that who used to spend time at casino property Resorts World Genting in time of China’s October Golden Week holiday. It is as per the note from Maybank IB Research.
On delivering explanation of the bank’s 2nd October’s appointment to the casino property which are being run by Genting Malaysia Bhd so far, analyst Samuel Yin Shao Yang has made it very clear: “Despite the Golden Week holiday, we did not meet large mainland Chinese groups of more than 20 tourists during our visit. The largest we ran into was a party of 10. This seems to suggest that visa-free access has yet to make a meaningful impact on Resort World Genting.”
He further added that Resort World Genting in Golden Weeks must be referred to as only week-long holidays excluding Chinese New Year which let most of its residents to take a trip to abroad. The foreign trips might have been planned in advance by most of the Chinese. The Home Ministry of Malaysia has made declaration of late travel plans of the extensive groups. The announcement was being made one month prior to Resort World Genting in Golden Weeks in October. Even the authority made no mistakes in making it clear that e-visa system, as announced on 14th of September would be available to free vacationers from China & numerous other nations.
