Basics of Live 3 Card Poker
With Live 3 Card Poker, the key here is to beat the dealer hand for the player hand. The game can be played with one deck of cards and new deck is used once each hand is completed. There are seven winning combinations created in this game, including a pair, high card, 3 of a kind, flush, straight, royal flush and straight flush. There is a different payout in each winning hand and each table can accept different betting limits as per your bankroll.
When placing two bets – the pair plus bets and the ante, the game starts. The cards are dealt after placing bets. The ante is made over the dealer and the pair plus pays out for hands made of a pair. After placing the bets, you will get 3 cards and you have to decide whether you want to fold or keep playing. You can just decide on your hand and there is no access to dealer’s hand.
If you choose to keep playing your hand, you have to place another bet matching the ante. Then, your hand will be compared to the dealer’s hand by paying 1-to-1 on both the raise and ante bets if you succeed.
To play with, dealer’s hand should qualify with Queen or higher order. Without qualifying hand, all bets are returned and ante is paid 1:1.
What about player’s turn?
The game starts once you place a Pairs Plus and Ante bet. If you place the Ante bet and player folds, they forfeit the bet. If they keep on playing, they also have to back up Ante with similar bet in Play circle.
You can also have a bonus payout in term of Ante bet for creating specific hands. If player has straight flush, straight, or three of a kind hands, they also get bonus payout even though dealer doesn’t qualify.
In terms of Pairs Plus bet, player places a bet on whether their hand will have a pair. This offers payout when dealer fails to qualify. Player can place the bet as sole one without placing Ante bet. There are several options for betting by playing live poker game.
Six Card Bonus bet
Some games also have Six Card Bonus. In this bet, 3 cards from both player and dealer are combined for the best five card hand possible. If these hand succeed together to create 3 of a kind or better hand, player wins on the basis of such odds.
