The NBA has released its weekly update of the MVP rankings for the 2024-2025 season.
James has joined the top ten of the most valuable player of the league’s decisive award of the season but other shifts on the list were equally interesting.
In the beginning, there were no alterations in the three leaders of the race. Nikola Jokic is on top of the list again, whereas Antetokounmpo and Gilgeous- Alexander come in the second and third positions respectively.

In this week full of activity, the Boston star player slipped down, but can easily reclaim lost ground as the Mavericks’ star player drops out of the race.
However, the greatest advancement was courtesy of Victor Wembanyama. The Frenchman scored three positions and now rightfully occupies the sixth line.
The centre has looked spectacular in the blocks with numbers that are unprecedented in the NBA. In his second year, he is on the cusp of the top five for the award.
The other notable change is that Karl-Anthony Towns has fallen a little bit in the rating. Still, he was fifth last week and now he is only the seventh.
Indeed, the Knicks centre was in front of Wembanyama and, in fact, also Doncic in the last list.
