The Rockets Face a Loss to The Warriors in Game 3 of The Series

The Houston Rockets lost to the Golden State Warriors during Saturday night’s matchup with Stephen Curry delivering an outstanding performance that ended 104 to 93.

The San Francisco team has a 2-1 series lead because of their latest win. But it was not easy at all. The Texan team facedd different outstanding defensive moments throughout the game.

The Game

In the first quarter Rockets guard Fred VanVleet outplayed Warriors star Stephen Curry who led his team instead.

Golden State faced both Curry’s poor performance and difficulties in scoring during that game.

Houston had the highest total in rebounding statistics during the game. The visitors took a 22-18 points lead through the first 12 minutes of game play.

The Warriors managed to score only 22 points during the first 18 minutes of the match despite facing the Rockets.

Although Houston did not develop their offence much better they maintained a 13-point advantage.

The offences were restrained as defensive play performed well during the first eighteen mins.

The Texans improved continuous performance at both offence and defence domains.

The Warriors started their comeback against the Rockets despite their continuous scoring.

Dillon Brooks reached his fourth foul mark at the same time the Warriors brought their deficit to seven points.

The Rockets imposed tight defensive pressure on Curry due to Hield’s assistance yet offered no escape routes to the Warriors guard.

The Rockets took a 49-46 halftime lead over the Warriors despite fierce defensive pressure San Francisco put on them including active play from Curry.

Once the Warriors and Rockets finished their locker room break the match turned into a physical test rather than an intellectual duel.

The teams proved their physical commitment through energetic performance while minimising unnecessary rules violations.

Houston extended its lead by eight points when Draymond Green received a technical foul. The lead became one point when Stephen Curry took the court.

Green restored his team to a 57-56 advantage before the two rival groups matched points all through the game.

The team from San Antonio kept scoring without answer and moved ahead by five points to 71-66. Houston reduced the score to two points when the fourth quarter ended.

Curry reached his 30th point during the initial moments of the fourth quarter when the Rockets shared an equal 77 points with the Warriors.

Steven Adams grabbed an offensive rebound just afterward when the score became 79-77.

Golden State took over the lead again when Hield scored a point to make the score 80-79.

Both the Warriors and Rockets maintained the 81-80 score after securing this key steal.

Draymond Green committed a foul against him during the play which resulted in a 81-80 score.

With 5:47 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter Dillon Brooks hit a 3-pointer to place the Rockets in front at 84-83 before Payton delivered an astonishing performance to take control of the game.

Payton took the lead for Golden State with a layup at 5:27 remaining then scored three more points including a layup, a 3-pointer and a dunk to give his team a 92-86 advantage in the final 3:42 seconds.
