Understand Singapore Casino entry Levy

Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents of Singapore must purchase and hold a valid Casino Entry Levy to enter the casino.

24 Hour Entry Levy

The daily entry levy is S$100, and is valid for 24 consecutive hours starting from the time of first entry into the casino. The daily entry levy will expire if entry has not taken place by the end of the 30th day after the date of purchase.

Annual Entry Levy

The annual entry levy is S$2000, and is valid for 12 months starting from either (a) the time of first entry into the casino, or (b) 90 days after the date of payment, whichever is earlier.

  1. How to Enter and Exit the Casino Properly
  • Please enter and exit the casino according to your residency classification, “Singaporean / PR” or “Foreigner”
  • Once you have paid the Entry Levy, enter the casino through the “Singaporean / PR” lanes. Scan your NRIC card, driver’s license, SAF identification card or Re-Entry Permit and proceed immediately into the casino
  • Those who are not qualified as Singaporeans or Permanent Residents are considered Foreigners and must enter and exit through the lanes marked “Foreigner”. If asked, please provide ID consisting of a foreign passport with a short term immigration pass, long term visitor pass with a photo ID or with a foreign passport, student pass with a photo ID or with a foreign passport or a work pass, an identification card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to diplomats and professional staff in international organizations, a work pass with a photo or a special pass with a photo issued by the Ministry of Manpower or Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (those carrying work passes that do not feature a photograph, must also present their foreign passport).
  1. Over-stay without a valid Entry Levy
  • If your entry levy has expired, it is an OFFENCE if you:
  • remain in the Casino i.e., over-stay; and
  • fail to pay the entry levy/levies for the over-stay period before leaving the casino.
  • If you are convicted, you may be liable for a fine up to S$1,000 and the amount of entry levy/levies due for the over-stay period.
  • Please CHECK that your entry levy is valid before exiting the Casino premises by swiping your identification document at the kiosks located near the casino exits.
  • If your entry levy has expired, please proceed to the cashier’s cage to purchase the entry levy/levies due for the over-stay period before exiting the casino.

  1. Entry Levy required for entry by Singapore Citizens and Permanent Resident
  • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are required to purchase a valid Entry Levy before entering the casino:
  • Entry Levy of S$100 for every consecutive period of 24 hours; or
  • Entry Levy of S$2,000 for a consecutive period of 12 months.
  • It is an OFFENCE for any Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident to enter the Casino premises without purchasing a valid Entry Levy.
  • If you are convicted, you may be liable for a fine of up to S$1,000 and the amount of Entry Levy due for the period of entry

  1. Entry and Exit Only Through Designated Lanes
  • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are to enter and exit the casino premises solely through the lanes designated “Singapore/PR”.
  • Persons who are not Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents are to enter and exit the casino premises solely through the lanes designated “Foreigners”.
